Scent Stories
2065 Ujong is our homegrown artisan eau de parfum and a love letter to Singapore. Named from the Malay word for tip, for the island at the tip of the Malay Peninsula, it opens like fireworks with lemon, mandarin and bergamot, blooms into orchid and lavender, and rests on rosewood and musk, with a marine note woven through.
Every Scent by SIX fragrance is named for a place or a feeling, and Ujong is the most personal of them. It is our interpretation of Singapore, a small island that turned its position at the tip of the peninsula into something larger than its size. The scent is built to feel balanced, between nature and modern architecture, between the past and a future we are still writing.
The top is pure celebration, lemon peel, mandarin peel and bergamot bursting open like fireworks over the bay, which to us is the passion Singaporeans carry. It trickles down into a heart of orchid and lavender, the orchid a quiet nod to our national flower. Then it settles on a solid foundation of rosewood and musk. Around all of it sits a soft marine note, because this is an island surrounded by water, and you are never far from the sea.
Ujong is bright, optimistic and easy to wear in the heat, which makes it a natural everyday scent and a meaningful gift, especially for anyone with a connection to Singapore. The citrus opening makes it feel fresh in humidity, while the rosewood and musk keep it grounded as the day goes on.
Spray onto pulse points and let it settle without rubbing. In our climate the bright top notes lift off quickly, so choose the eau de parfum for longer wear and keep a refill vial for a midday refresh. Ujong comes in a 20ml bottle in Bronze or Champagne, as eau de toilette or eau de parfum, with refills available.
What does 2065 Ujong smell like?
Bright and balanced, with a sparkling citrus opening of lemon, mandarin and bergamot, a heart of orchid and lavender, and a base of rosewood and musk, with a marine note running throughout.
Why is it called Ujong?
Ujong is a Malay word for tip. Singapore sits at the tip of the Malay Peninsula, and the scent imagines the country in the year 2065.
Is it suitable for Singapore's weather?
Yes. The citrus opening keeps it fresh in humidity. For longer wear in the heat, choose the eau de parfum and top up from a refill vial.
Does it make a good gift?
It is a thoughtful gift for anyone who loves Singapore. Pair it with a gift set, or include it in the Discovery Set to sample first.
